1. American Airlines Center
American Airlines Center is a versatile arena that serves as a base for Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks. The arena has been used constantly to date for plays and entertainment. It also offers super clean facilities furnished with up to 21,000 comfortable seats.
2. The Texas Theatre
This is resurrected as a peak in Dallas history, as it was recognized as the place of Lee Oswald’s hiding place during his assassination of President John F. Kennedy and the murder of police officer J.D Tippit. It is Dallas’ first air-conditioned theatre with comfortable seating, state of the art facilities and a very serene atmosphere.
3. White Rock Lake Park
White Rock Lake Park is 8 km northeast of the centre and is a good place to train your sneakers on the 9.33-mile circuit that takes you all around the beauty of the park. White Rock Lake Park is a refreshing place to enjoy and feel nature in its best shape.
4. Sixth Floor Museum
The Sixth Floor Museum features photos, film recordings and artefacts that illustrate the legacy of President John F. Kennedy as the most renowned and influential icon in the United States. The museum provides a comprehensive guide to Kennedy’s life. It also houses an extensive collection of books, objects and audio-visual resources.
5. Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Gardens
The garden covers 66 hectares of land and offers interesting locations, including the beautiful 8-hectare Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden. The garden has many picnic areas with well-cut grasses. However, no active sport is allowed in this garden.
6. Perot Museum of Nature and Science
The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is a good place to visit, and it has five floors with 11 permanent exhibition halls with ultramodern videos, and 3D computer animations and real-time simulations. It also has a children’s museum, a playground and enclosed accommodation for fun and activities.
7. Reunion Tower
It’s an exciting place to have a compact image of Dallas with its beauty from above. It is a famous tower and as such one of the most respected sites in Dallas with a height of 561 feet. The Reunion Tower is North America’s 15th tallest building and hosts Wolfgang Puck’s famous Five Sixty restaurant at the top of the tower.
