Fresh Invitations Issued To Skilled Trades And French-Speaking Skilled Worker Streams in Ontario. A total of 470 invitations issued in January 2021 to Express Entry candidates in order to make applications for a provincial nomination through its Skilled Trades and French-Speaking Skilled Worker Streams. On January 24, 2021, under the Skilled Trades Stream, a total of 371 Express Entry candidates received NOIs issued by the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program

The participants who got an NOI in the first draw were required to possess Express Entry profiles, which were to be made from January 24, 2019, to January 24, 2020. OINP is able to search for suitable candidates in the Express Entry pool via the Skilled Trades Stream.

Those who currently live in this particular province, and possess a minimum of 1-year full-time work experience or the same in doing part-time work in any of the skilled trades mentioned in Minor Group 633 or in Major Group 72/73/82 under the country’s NOC (National Occupational Classification) make the most ideal candidates.

However, candidates have to meet certain federal and provincial conditions mandated by the Ontario Immigration Program as they do not require a job offer to be allowed to apply under Skilled Trades Stream or French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream.
