Colva is one of the largest and most beautiful beaches in South Goa. It has fine powdery white sand bordered by coconut palms stretching from Bogmalo to Cabo de Rama. Popularly referred to as a romantic gateway for beach lovers in India, Colva in South Goa’s liveliest beach, especially for shopping and nightlife. Water scooter rides, jet skiing, speed boat rides, snorkeling, swimming, banana boat rides, motorboat rides, etc. are some of the popular water sports activities offered on Colva Beach.

Palolem

Palolem is the most idyllic beaches in South Goa and also one of the most popular Goa places to visit. Also known as Paradise Beach, Palolem is a natural bay surrounded on both sides by high headlands. This crescent-shaped beach is about one and a half kilometers long and is frequented by both fishermen and tourists. On the north side of the beach there is a freshwater stream and on the other side of the stream is a small wooded island. On the island is a stone sculpture made by an American artist Jacek Tylicki. Perfect for an evening stroll along the shallow shores, this beach is also a popular hub for witnessing Goa’s vibrant nightlife. The beach offers many water sports options.

Agonda

Agonda is a beautiful and quiet beach in South Goa. This wide, calm, and picturesque beach are considered one of the secluded beaches in South Goa. The 3 km stretch of this pristine beach is quite pristine and is an ideal retreat for those seeking tranquility and solitude. There is a turtle center on the north side of the beach to protect the precious Olive Ridley turtles. This is also a great place to sunbathe, relax, and swim.

Benaulim

Known for its calm and peaceful environment, Benaulim Beach is one of the quite undiscovered Goa beaches. Located in South Goa, it is an ideal place for picnics and one can just relax and enjoy the sun for the day. This is where the legendary Parashuram arrow landed, creating Goa. Betalbatim

Betalbatim is one of the pleasant beaches in Goa, located between the Majorda and Colva beaches. Popularly known as Sunset Beach, it is one of the better known and quite well-developed beaches in South Goa. Known for its clean sand and beautiful surroundings, this is one of the cleanest of all Goa beaches and has significantly less commercial activity compared to Colva and other popular beaches. Dolphins are common near the shores of Betalbatim and the local fishermen offer a ride to the tourists to catch a glimpse of the dolphins. This is a perfect place to spend quiet time with family and friends. The shacks on the beach offer delicious Goan dishes.

Cansaulim

Cansaulim is one of the famous beaches in South Goa. The beach of Cansaulim, together with the neighboring beaches of Arossim and Cuelim, is the second largest beach in India. With beautiful golden sand and palm trees, the beach is incredibly clean and tidy. Gives a deserted look with its large stretches of white sand, it is one of Goa’s best tourist places and one of Goa’s best beaches.
